D Strong Imports has a mission to import unique fashion accessories and gifts that are fairly traded and handmade by women artisans in Cambodia. We strive to encourage creativity and to empower the women in their businesses by providing a North American market for their handicrafts.

We offer you products that:

• are unique and of high quality
• are fairly traded where the artisans are promptly paid fair mutually agreed prices
• are produced with no forced child labour
• equally value women's work to that of men's
• have been produced where the working conditions of the artisans are safe and healthy

Your consumer choice to purchase these fair trade items will make a difference to the artisans who are small co-operatives or poor families in villages outside Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. By purchasing, you are helping to improve their livelihoods and well-being by paying a better price and increasing their export market which, in turn, expands their production to provide more consistent income year round.

We are a member of Faces of Fair Trade, a group of socially concerned individuals in Toronto who support low-income artisans in developing countries around the world by purchasing and selling their handicrafts. A catalogue of wholesale products is available by contacting any member or you can invite our caravan to your workplace, church, school, event, home or community group.
